Mom'S Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
3 or 4 bananas
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Crushed nuts (optional)
Preparation

Mash bananas, add flour, shortening, egg, baking soda, sugar and salt.
Mix well, add nuts if desired.
Grease 2 loaf pans and split the batter evenly.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
Cool on the side.
