Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. self rising flour
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
6 c. thinly sliced pared tart apples
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Heat oven to 425 degrees.
Prepare crust of your choice. Stir together first 4 ingredients; mix with apples.
Turn into crust; dot with butter.
Cover with top crust that has slits cut in it; seal and flute.
Cover edge with 2 to 3 inch strip of aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning; remove foil last 15 minutes of baking.
