Crab-Broccoli Bisque - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 onion, diced
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. half and half
    2 c. milk
    fresh ground black pepper to taste
    2 cans lump crab meat
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli (thawed)
    lots of fresh thyme to taste
Preparation
    Saute butter and onion until transparent.
    Add flour, half and half and milk.
    Stir until thick.
    May thicken with cornstarch, if preferred.
    Add pepper, crab meat and broccoli and heat thoroughly.
    Add grated Parmesan cheese just before serving.
    Top with croutons or oyster crackers.
    May serve with warm, crusty French bread.
