Mexican Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 green bell pepper, chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. Gebhardt chili powder
    1/2 c. meat stock
    1 c. tomatoes
Preparation
    Cook onion, green pepper and garlic slowly in butter until soft, stirring often.
    Add flour, salt and chili powder; stir until smooth.
    Add meat stock and tomatoes.
    Cook until thick and smooth.
    Strain, if desired.
    Can be used over rice, spaghetti, noodles or various meats.
