Orange Cottage Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can mandarin oranges
    1 small pkg. orange jello
    9 oz. Cool Whip
    1 medium can of crushed pineapple with juices
    1 pint of cottage cheese (small curd)
Preparation
    Drain juice from oranges.
    Mix juice with dry jello and heat on stove and stir til dissolved.
    Bring to boil.
    Let cool.
    Stir pineapple into cooled jello mixture.
    Fold in Cool Whip, then fold in cottage cheese and oranges.
    Chill in refrigerator about 5 hours.
    Best to make the day before.
    (Can use green lime jello instead of orange.)
