White Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb. white chocolate (3 blocks), melted and let set to cool
1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. butter or margarine (2 sticks)
2 c. sugar
4 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
4 egg whites
1 c. pecans
1 c. coconut
Preparation

Cream the shortening and sugar until fluffy; add egg yolks, one at a time.
Add chocolate and vanilla.
Mix flour and soda; add with buttermilk.
Do not overmix.
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold gently; gently blend in coconut and pecans.
Bake in 4 (8-inch) pans at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
