Beef And Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked long grain rice
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 head cabbage, shredded
    4 carrots, grated
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    2 tsp. salt
    2 cans chicken broth (10 3/4 oz.)
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Spread rice evenly in bottom of a large casserole dish. Brown ground beef and onion in a large skillet, stirring occasionally. Add cabbage, carrots, pepper and salt to ground beef and stir. Spread over rice. Pour chicken broth over mixture, cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. When ready to serve, dot with butter and mix in gently.
