Sausage And Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh pork sausage links
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 medium cooking apples
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook sausage in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat 10 minutes (until no longer pink).
    Drain well; discard juices.
    Cut sausage links crosswise in half.
    Return sausage to skillet.
    Core apples and cut each into 8 wedges.
    Add apple wedges to sausage. Sprinkle with brown sugar, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
    Cover and cook over medium-low heat for 10 to 15 minutes, until apples are tender, stirring occasionally.
    Makes 6 servings.
