Blueberry Tea Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pt. blueberries
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cream shortening.
    Add sugar gradually.
    Cream until well blended.
    Add 1 egg.
    Beat until mixture is light and fluffy. Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk and vanilla.
    Pour into 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
    Cover with washed and drained blueberries.
    Sprinkle top with sugar.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour.
