New Mexico Breakfast Of Champions - cooking recipe

10 slices sourdough bread, buttered and cut into cubes
1 lb. sausage
1 lb. chorizo
1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
6 eggs, beaten
3 c. milk
Preparation

Slightly butter 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Butter bread and chop into cubes.
Cook sausage and chorizo and drain.
Place bread cubes in dish.
Cover with chorizo and sausage.
Add 1 cup cheese.
Add eggs and milk, beaten together.
Pour over bread and sausage.
Cover and let set overnight.
Before baking, add 1/2 cup grated cheese and chopped green chilies.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 35 to 45 minutes.
Serves 8 to 10.
