Scalloped Zucchini And Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 sliced new potatoes
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 medium onions
    garlic
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. thyme
    1/3 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 c. large zucchini slices
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Spread sliced potatoes over bottom of lightly greased 9 x 13-inch loaf pan.
    Saute onions in oil with garlic until softened. Mix together basil, oregano and thyme.
    Add 1/2 of mixture to onions.
    Distribute onions evenly over potatoes; dribble with buttermilk.
    Arrange one layer of zucchini slices to cover potato-onion mixture.
    Sprinkle with remaining herbs; salt and pepper lightly.
    Spread Cheddar cheese evenly over zucchini, then sprinkle on Parmesan cheese.
    Cover with foil; bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
