Tomato-Mushroom Hors D'Oeuvres - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. medium-sized mushrooms (36)
    3/4 pt. cherry tomatoes (about 18)
    1/2 c. Italian-flavored dry bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. imitation bacon bits
    1 tsp. instant minced onion
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Remove mushroom stems.
    Place mushrooms, round side down, in a shallow baking dish.
    Cut cherry tomatoes in half.
