Sweet And Sour Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. chicken, cut up in 1-inch cubes
1 can pineapple chunks
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. green pepper
1/2 c. thinly sliced onion
Preparation
-
Brown chicken.
Add water and cover.
Simmer.
Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
Combine brown sugar and cornstarch. Add pineapple juice, vinegar, soy sauce and salt.
Pour over chicken.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Add pineapple, green peppers and onion.
Cook 5 minutes.
Serve over rice.
