Hamburger Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    3 cans tomato soup
    1 medium pkg. egg noodles
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. cottage cheese
    garlic
    salt
    pepper
    Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown 1 pound ground beef in frypan.
    Season with garlic, salt and pepper to taste.
    Add tomato soup and simmer 5 minutes.
    In second pan, cook egg noodles as directed on package.
    Drain.
    Add 1 cup chopped onion and cottage cheese.
    Layer alternately in casserole dish beginning with noodle mixture and ending with meat mixture (about 2 layers of each).
    Top with grated cheese and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until onion is tender and cheese is melted. Freezes well.
    Serves 8.
