Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. vinegar, stirred with 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Allow vinegar and milk to clabber while mixing remaining ingredients (except soda) in order.
    When ingredients are well blended, dissolve soda in clabbered milk. Stir into flour mixture.
    Spread in greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until top springs back when touched lightly.
    Cool in pan on wire rack before cutting.
