Fried Tomato Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
    1 green pepper, chop fine
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 c. (about) Progresso Italian style bread crumbs
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except bread crumbs in a large bowl.
    Now add just enough bread crumbs to make it stiff enough to drop ty tablespoonful into hot oil in frying pan.
    Brown on both sides. Serve hot.
    Makes about 10 or 12 cakes.
