Jan Hagel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    1 egg
    2 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/3 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add egg yolk. Beat until light.
    Add flour and cinnamon; mix well.
    Spread evenly on a greased jelly roll pan (2 x 15 x 1-inch).
    Brush on egg white. Sprinkle chopped nuts and sugar on mixture.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes until light brown.
    Cut while warm.
