Marinated And Grilled Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. cooking sherry
    1/3 c. sesame seed oil
    1/3 c. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    2 lb. large fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except shrimp, in a shallow dish and mix well.
    Add shrimp, tossing gently to coat.
    Cover and chill for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
    Drain shrimp, reserving marinade.
    Place shrimp in 6 (14-inch) skewers.
    Grill over medium-hot coals for 3 to 4 minutes per each side, basting frequently with marinade.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
