Marinated Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cabbage
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    3/4 c. Crisco oil
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Shred cabbage in a large bowl.
    Place chopped onion and green pepper on top of cabbage.
    Sprinkle sugar evenly on top.
    Bring oil, vinegar, mustard, celery seed and salt to a boil.
    Pour over cabbage while hot.
    Don't stir.
    Refrigerate, covered, at least 4 hours (better if refrigerated overnight).
    Stir mixture and drain before serving.
