Mildred'S Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    2 c. light cream
    2 c. shucked or canned oysters and their juice
    salt
    3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Heat the milk and cream in a pot.
    Do not boil.
    Add oysters and any oyster juice.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Season to taste. Add butter. Heat until it melts and serve very hot.
