Peanut Butter Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    6 oz. pkg. chocolate bits
    1 c. chopped cocktail peanuts
Preparation
    Spoon flour into dry measuring cup; level off and pour measured flour onto waxed paper.
    Add flour (not sifted).
    Stir to blend.
    Cream peanut butter, sugar, shortening, eggs and vanilla thoroughly.
    Add blended dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Mix until smooth.
    Stir in chocolate bits and peanuts.
