Wine Sauced Beans And Franks(From 1975 Edition) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 frankfurters
    1/3 c. red wine or white dry wine
    2 (1 lb.) cans barbecued or baked beans
    prepared mustard
    1/3 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Place franks in saucepan with wine.
    Cover and heat slowly to simmer.
    Turn off heat.
    Let stand to plump up.
    Cut a lengthwise gash in top of each frank.
