Pat Cary'S Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. solid shortening
    5 to 6 c. flour
    1 or 2 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 egg
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
Preparation
    Pour
    boiling
    water
    over
    salt,
    sugar and shortening. Stir and
    cool.
    Add
    yeast
    to
    water;
    put
    yeast and egg in mixture. Stir in flour to make soft dough.
    Rub top with solid shortening. Cover
    loosely.
    Put in refrigerator (keeps 3 to 4 days).
    Put out about 2 hours before use.
    Make into rolls, let rise.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 until browned.
