Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. bag of hash browns
    1 small onion, chopped fine
    1 medium bell pepper, chopped fine
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 1/4 sticks margarine or less
    bacon, fried and crumbled (optional)
    1 pt. sour cream
    8 oz. Cheez Whiz (or less)
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. corn flakes, crushed fine
Preparation
    Mix hash browns, onion, bell pepper; salt and pepper to taste. Place in a 9 x 13 pan. Pour half of margarine over mixture; add bacon crumbles, if desired. Heat and stir sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and Cheez Whiz until mixed good; pour on top of potatoes. Add crushed corn flakes. Add remaining half of margarine on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 1 hour or until done.
