Yakitori(Japanese) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chicken breast, skinless
    5 Tbsp. soy sauce
    5 Tbsp. saki or cooking sherry
    2 1/2 Tbsp. mirin
    1 small piece fresh ginger root, grated
    1 clove garlic, grated
Preparation
    Soak chicken in combined sauces for 20 minutes or longer.
    Put 4 or 5 pieces of chicken on bamboo stick.
    Simmer down remaining sauce until quantity is half.
    May need to use a little cornstarch in water to thicken.
    Broil on charcoal grill.
    Brush several times.
    (Buy mirin in Oriental food store; purchase Oriental grater.
    Saki is found in wine specialty stores.)
