Caramel Nut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 (14 oz.) box brown sugar
    5 eggs
    1 c. white sugar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. cake flour
    1 c. milk
    1 c. finely chopped black walnuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and shortening.
    Add brown sugar and white sugar. Add one egg at a time.
    Beat until well creamed.
    Add flour, salt, baking powder and vanilla, then add nuts.
    Blend well. Place mixture in greased and floured 10-inch tube pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for one hour.
    Test for doneness.
