Roll-Out Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    1 unbeaten egg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 2/3 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and butter.
    Add the egg, salt and vanilla. Blend in the flour.
    Refrigerate dough at least 1 hour before using (can be overnight).
    Roll thin on floured surface.
    Cut out cookies.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until lightly browned.
    Decorate or frost.
