Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
3 eggs, separated
1 stick oleo
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
2 c. coconut
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Mix sugar and egg yolks.
Cream oleo and shortening together. Combine both mixtures.
Mix buttermilk and soda; add alternately with flour.
Beat slowly; add coconut and pecans.
Fold in well beaten egg whites with sugar added to egg whites; add vanilla.
