Boston Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pea or navy beans (dry)
    3/4 c. molasses
    3/4 c. catsup
    2 chopped medium onions
    2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 lb. salt pork
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight. Drain water off in morning.
    Add fresh water and boil gently about 1/2 hour. Drain. Cut salt pork into 4 pieces. Add beans, salt and remaining ingredients to bean pot. Cover. Cook all day at 300\u00b0 (at least 8 hours for best results). Add water if necessary.
    Great for a picnic!
    Freezes well.
