Michigan Pasties - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. all purpose flour, sifted
1 tsp. salt
1 c. lard
1/2 c. cold water
Preparation

Combine flour and salt.
With pastry blender or 2 knives used scissor fashion, cut in lard until it resembles coarse crumbs. Add water and work until the dough can be handled and is not sticky. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate. Frozen pie crusts can be substituted.
