Goleer'S Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    2 c. milk
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. fennel seed
    1 tsp. anise seed
    1 tsp. crushed cardamon (optional)
    3 Tbsp. corn syrup
    1 c. rye flour
    4 c. white flour
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Add milk and heat to lukewarm (105\u00b0 and 115\u00b0). Place yeast in a bowl.
    Add milk mixture and stir until yeast is dissolved.
    Add salt, anise, fennel, cardamon (if used), syrup and rye flour.
    Mix.
    Add about 3/4 of all-purpose flour.
    Knead until dough is soft.
    Cover and let rise in warm place for 45 minutes. On lightly floured surface, knead dough until smooth and satin, adding flour as needed.
    Roll out to long roll and cut into 12 even pieces.
    Form pieces into oblong rolls.
    Place on lightly greased baking sheet.
    Let rise about 35 minutes.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown.
