Stove Top Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground round steak
    1 egg
    1 1/2 slices bread without crust, soaked in milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    dashes of other favorite spices, like cloves, allspice, nutmeg, etc.
    1/4 onion, chopped fine and browned in butter or margarine
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together and shape in meat loaf shape. Brown top and bottom in frying pan (you can also make individual 1/4 pound loaves).
    Add 1 can whole tomatoes with some chopped celery.
    Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
