Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 (8 oz.) cottage cheese
    1 (8 to 12 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Bring pineapple to a boil.
    Remove from heat and mix dry jello into pineapple.
    Cool to the point where cottage cheese will not melt when added to the mixture. Add cottage cheese, Cool Whip and nuts.
    Mix, then put in container.
    Refrigerate.
