Yellow Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 medium onion, chopped
    8 to 10 saltine crackers, crushed
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    3 to 4 summer squash, sliced
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
Preparation
    In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat.
    Saute squash and onion until crisp-tender.
    Remove from heat; stir in chilies, crackers, salt and pepper.
    Spoon into a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Top with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes. Yields 4 to 6 servings.
