Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. flour
    1 3/8 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/4 c. water
    2 c. scalded milk
    3 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (9-inch) baked shell
Preparation
    Combine flour, 1 cup sugar and salt.
    Dissolve cocoa in water. Add with mixture to milk and cook in double boiler until thickened.
    Add egg yolks.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour into cooled pie shell.
    Beat egg whites with 3/8 cup sugar until fluffy.
    Spread over filling.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 until golden brown.
    Yield: 6 servings.
