Butterscotch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. brown sugar (packed)
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    7 c. flour
Preparation
    Thoroughly mix ingredients.
    Roll into long roll and place in refrigerator to chill well.
    When ready, slice and bake 8 to 10 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
