Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. finely chopped onions
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can mushroom gravy
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients thoroughly except gravy.
    Shape into oblong patties in skillet.
    Brown patties and pour off fat.
    Add gravy and cover.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
    Stir and garnish with parsley.
