Bojangle Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    3 tsp. confectioners sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Cut in Crisco and then add buttermilk.
    Dough will be very soft.
    Pour out on floured wax paper.
    Pat down and cut out.
    Bake at 500\u00b0 until golden brown. Yields 12 large biscuits.
