Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
dash of nutmeg
1 c. sliced strawberries
1 c. whipping cream
1/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar
baked pie shell
Preparation

Combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla and nutmeg, mixing until well blended.
Mash 3/4 cup strawberry slices; stir into cream cheese mixture.
Whip cream with confectioners sugar until stiff peaks form.
Fold into cream cheese mixture. Fold remaining strawberries into cream cheese mixture.
Spoon into pie crust.
Chill overnight.
