Raisin Drop Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    1 egg
    1/2 c. hot water
    3 c. flour
    3/4 c. raisins or nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Dissolve soda in hot water.
    Mix all ingredients.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto greased pan.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Lower heat to 300\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
