Ranger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. quick-cooking oats
    1 c. fortified whole wheat flakes cereal
    1/2 c. shredded coconut
    1/2 c. raisins (opt.)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375.
    Mix shortening, sugars, egg, and vanilla.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Drop by rounded teaspoonful 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake 10 minutes.
    Remove immediately from baking sheet.
