Sour Cream Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine or butter, softened
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3 1/2 c. unsifted flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 c. soured heavy cream
    raisins or nut halves
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar until smooth.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Add sifted dry ingredients and soured cream.
    Mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
    Put raisins or nuts in center of each.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake in moderate oven, 350\u00b0, about 12 minutes.
    Makes 7 dozen.
