Raspberry Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3/4 c. white corn syrup
    1/2 c. hot water
    2 egg whites
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. flavored gelatin
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and water together over moderate heat to hard ball stage or 252\u00b0 on the candy thermometer.
    Stir often. Beat egg whites until foamy.
    Add dry gelatin.
    Beat until egg whites form peaks.
    Slowly beat in hot mixture; continue beating until a test spoonful will hold shape.
    Add nuts.
    Drop quickly onto waxed paper.
