Cherry Drops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    6 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
    1 egg yolk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg yolk and vanilla; beat well. Add flour and drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate with halved, dried maraschino cherries.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Yields 2 dozen.
