Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 cooked potatoes, cubed
    carrots
    celery
    onions
    4 to 8 strips bacon
    1/2 stick butter (optional)
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. milk
    8 oz. sour cream with chives
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook together potatoes, carrots, celery and onion until tender.
    Save water.
    Cook 4 to 8 strips of bacon and crumble. Melt margarine; add soup, milk and sour cream.
    Add vegetables, bacon and as much reserved water as you like.
    Salt and pepper as desired.
    Simmer.
