Hermits(Portuguese) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. milk
1/2 c. raisins
2 c. flour
1/3 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. cloves and cinnamon

Preparation

Combine ingredients. Drop in spoonfuls on buttered pan or cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
