Tomato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. tomatoes (about 5)
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
dash of cayenne (if desired)
2 tsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter or fat
3 Tbsp. flour
4 c. milk (scalded)
celery (optional)
Preparation

Cook tomatoes, onion, salt and pepper, cayenne and sugar for 15 minutes.
Melt butter; blend in flour.
Add milk gradually. Gradually add tomato mixture to milk mixture, stirring constantly. Serve.
