Angus Barn Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 sticks butter
3 c. cake flour
1 c. sour cream
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour tube pan.
Beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time until well incorporated.
Sift cake flour and measure.
Add baking powder to flour.
Alternately add flour and sour cream to sugar and egg mixture.
When well mixed, add vanilla.
Pour mixture into pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
