Aunt Susan'S Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. salad oil
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 c. unsifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. finely grated carrots
    1 can crushed pineapple (with liquid, 8 1/2 oz.)
    1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Mix salad oil and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
    Add to mixture the flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and cinnamon.
    Add carrots, pineapple and pecans.
    Blend well. Pour into waxed paper lined pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes for layers or 45 to 50 minutes for loaf.
    Makes 3 layers or 10 x 13-inch loaf pan cake.
