Red Beef Curry(Low Sodium) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 lb. round or sirloin steak, cut into 3/4-inch cubes
1 Tbsp. minced onion
1/4 tsp. granulated garlic
1/4 tsp. mustard seed
1 small cinnamon stick
1 Tbsp. curry powder
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
3 oz. tomato paste
1 1/4 c. water or to cover
Preparation

Brown beef in shortening.
Add all seasoning and tomato paste. Stir to blend.
Stir in enough water to cover meat (about 1 1/4 cups).
Cover and simmer until meat is tender, about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Remove cinnamon stick.
Serve over brown rice.
